Renowned Nigerian gospel singer, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, has been invited to minister at the prestigious Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for the US-President-elect, Donald Trump, and his deputy, JD Vance.
The “non-governmental and non-political gathering” is scheduled to hold on January 20 to herald Trump’s second term in office. It will be hosted by Reverend Merrie Turner.
Bassey is one of the Christian leaders across the world that have been invited for the event holding in Washington D.C.
“Let’s raise a sound in. See you, January 20, 2025,” the inspirational worship leader wrote on Instagram.
He stated further, “The Presidential Prayer Breakfast is a faith-based platform where prayers are offered to God for the president and the government. It takes place every four years ahead of the official inauguration. Leaders and dignitaries worldwide have graced this event, making it a solemn moment of spiritual reflection for the incoming administration.”
In 2024, Bassey was honoured with a proclamation of “Pastor Nathaniel Bassey Day” in Albany, New York, for his impactful ministry.
