The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) will on December I launch the 2019 general pilgrimage to Israel and Rome.<\/p>\n
The Commission\u2019s Head of Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, disclosed this in a press release on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
He said the inauguration ceremony will hold in Lagos and that the inaugural flight made up of intending pilgrims from Lagos State who would be flown to Israel.<\/p>\n
He said that the event was earlier scheduled for Nov. 17, but was shifted due to operational reasons.<\/p>\n
He disclosed that the theme of this year\u2019s general pilgrimage was \u201cEngaging Christian Pilgrimage for National Change and Development.\u201d<\/p>\n
Toruka said this\u00a0year\u2019s general pilgrimage would cover only two destination countries \u2013 Israel and Rome.<\/p>\n
He also said the pilgrimage would hold from December 2019 to January 2020.<\/p>\n
Toruka assured that the Commission had already settled all logistics issues had been handled in order to ensure a hitch-free exercise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
