Founder and senior pastor of the Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze, has narrated how he and some members of the church recently escaped a plane crash while returning from Lagos to Abuja, Nigeria\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n

Eze, while preaching a sermon during the church\u2019s service on Sunday February 23, told his audience that they were returning the Nigerian capital after the New Season Prophetic, Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD) conference in Lagos on Saturday February 22, when the incident happened.<\/p>\n

NSPPD is a popular online prayer meeting platform convened daily by the pastor.<\/p>\n

He said before the aircraft departed he had a nudge in his spirit that something was not right about the plane.<\/p>\n

The popular cleric said because of the discomfort he requested unsuccessfully to see the pilot.<\/p>\n

He, however, could not see the pilot but reluctantly boarded the aircraft.<\/p>\n

The cleric said the aircraft had issues landing and that they kept hovering uncontrollably until a loud sound was heard.<\/p>\n

According to him, they were told the aircraft was crash landing and that by the time they exited the plane, the discovered that the three tyres had busted.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got on a flight after the NSPPD prayer conference in Lagos on Saturday morning. As soon as we got on the flight coming back before we even took off, I just requested to see the pilot.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe air hostess approached me and said, \u2018Papa, you are uncomfortable.\u2019 I said, \u2018My spirit is not accepting this pilot.\u2019 I said, no problem, let\u2019s go. Of course, everybody was tired. But for some reason, the spirit of God said, \u2018Begin to pray,\u2019 and I kept praying; I wasn\u2019t sleeping.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey said it was a crash landing. When we exited the plane, we found out that all the plane\u2019s tires had busted. But every one of us came out, nothing missing, nothing broken. If you saw the picture of the plane, all the tires had busted,” Eze said.<\/p>\n
