The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has been invited to the inauguration of Donald Trump as the president of the United States.<\/p>\n

The invitation was confirmed by a prominent US public relations firm, A. Larry Ross Communications<\/p>\n

Kumuyi will join other global leaders to witness the inauguration of Trump on Monday January 20 in Washington D.C. for a second term. He was president between 2017 and 2021.<\/p>\n

Ross said while in the United States, the renowned clergyman is expected to participate in a series of high-profile engagements, including meetings with U.S lawmakers, prominent American church leaders, and influential media practitioners.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the significance of the event, Kumuyi, who is already in the US with his wife, Esther, said, \u201cThis moment in history reminds us that faith transcends borders and unites believers worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n

He stressed the importance of faith-based dialogue in shaping policies that uphold religious liberty and foster growth of the Christian religion globally.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cWe cannot continue to do things in the same way and expect better results. We need to interact with the gatekeepers to further spread the gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kumuyi praised Trump\u2019s stance on the gospel.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump\u2019s stance on the gospel is not without recognition, not just by American Christians, but all Christians globally,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He further commended the president-elect for \u201chis bold commitment to defending Christian values and championing international religious freedom throughout his first term in office.\u201d<\/p>\n

He noted that Trump\u2019s initiative had \u201cnot only bolstered religious liberty in the United States but also sparked important conversations on the need for moral leadership worldwide.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Christian<\/em>\u00a0reported two weeks ago that Nigerian gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey, was invited to participate in the prestigious Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast.<\/p>\n
