He then used the mud on the eyes of the blind man and asked him to go to the Pool of Siloam to wash them. He was healed after he obeyed the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>John 1: 7 says \u201cAnd he said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent). He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.\u201d (KJV)<\/p>\n<p>The pool was built about 2,700 years ago during the reign of King Hezekiah as recorded in 2 Kings 20:20.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1490\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1490\" style=\"width: 259px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1490\" src=\"https:\/\/thechristian.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Siloam.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1490\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Siloam<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The exact location of the original pool as it existed during Jesus\u2019 time remained a mystery until 2004.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTraditionally, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblicalarchaeology.org\/daily\/biblical-sites-places\/biblical-archaeology-sites\/the-siloam-pool-where-jesus-healed-the-blind-man\/\"> Christian site of the Siloam Poo<\/a>l was the pool and church that were built by the Byzantine empress Eudocia (c. 400-460 A.D.) to commemorate the miracle recounted in the New Testament. However, the exact location of the original pool as it existed during the time of Jesus remained a mystery until June 2004,\u201d the Biblical Archaeology Society, said.<\/p>\n<p><b>Accessible to visitors and tourists<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pool of Siloam in the City of David National Park in Jerusalem is a site of historic, national, and international significance.
