No fewer than 45 churches have allegedly been burnt down in Canada, Faithwire is reporting.<\/p>\n

The report says 17 of the church buildings suffered fire damage or completely burned to the ground.<\/p>\n

The arson is occurring in an anti-Christian campaign currently going on in the North American country.<\/p>\n

The attacks are being carried out by terrorists, who are targeting mainly Roma Catholic churches and affiliates of the church. For instance, the building where the House of Prayer Alliance Church in Calgary was burnt down.<\/p>\n

The sole aim of the far-left terrorists with Marxist ideology is to drive fear into Christian faithful.<\/p>\n

Already Christian leaders in the country have asked the arsonists to halt the attacks.<\/p>\n

Jenn Allan-Riley, a pastor at the Living Waters Church, said, \u201cBurning down churches is not in solidarity with us indigenous people. As I said we do not destroy people\u2019s place of worship.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019We are concerned about the burning and defacing of churches bringing more strife, depression, and anxiety to those already in pain and mourning.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the report, the fires and vandalism occurred in six provinces and Northwest Territories while others happened in the First Nation\u2019s territory.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re refugees. We escaped from Vietnam to come here to get more freedom, to live, and we think it was a good country \u2013and now it happened to our church. Maybe it is not safe to be here in Canada compared to Vietnam,\u201d Pastor Nguyen said.<\/p>\n

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) say they have commenced investigation into the incidents.<\/p>\n

Background<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fire incidents in Canada began following the discovery of unmarked graves on the sites of former boarding schools for Indigenous children, many of which were run by churches.<\/p>\n

About 1,000 bodies have been discovered so far.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau lamented the discoveries, saying it \u201cheart breaks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI recognize these findings only deepen the pain that families, survivors, and all indigenous peoples and communities are already feeling as they reaffirm the truth that they have long known,\u201d Trudeau said while addressing a press conference in Ottawa.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo members of the Penelakut Tribe, we are here for you. We cannot bring back those who are lost but we can and will continue to tell the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n
