Popular preacher and senior pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Abuja, Nigeria, Dr Paul Enench, has denied buying a private jet.<\/p>\n
Enenche stated this in a statement on Friday as the social media was awash with news that he had acquired a private jet.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cthe news of our acquisition of a private jet that is currently making rounds is absolutely false and totally untrue.\u201d<\/p>\n
He explained that the picture of the jet purportedly owned by him \u201cis that of an aircraft, N838BB HAWKER 800XP (HS25), belonging to a private aviation company that was chartered in December 2019 for a series of crusades in Benue State.\u201d<\/p>\n
Enenche however said getting a jet was a necessity and not a luxury as some may think.<\/p>\n
Stating that \u201cwe have the capacity to acquire one (jet),\u201d the clergyman said owning a jet would ensure easy, stress-less, and aggressive spread of the gospel and therefore a \u201cvital necessity.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking further, the medical doctor-turned gospel preacher said, \u201cif the private jet is equipment for kingdom assignment, then it cannot be considered an achievement. Though congratulations for a worthy feat is natural, especially among loved ones and well-wishers, it is not necessary in this case.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter all, who has ever congratulated us for buying a microphone with which to preach the gospel?\u00a0 Nobody has ever congratulated us for buying a Bible, a keyboard, amplifiers, speakers, drum sets, or other sound and crusade equipment for kingdom assignment.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, it is pointless to send congratulatory messages for what is a basic work tool for kingdom evangelistic assignment.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added, that \u201cthe greatest congratulations we would ever like to receive is from our Master at the end of the journey for souls won, lives transformed and destinies changed in the course of our assignment on the earth with the statement: \u201cWell done, thou good and faithful servant.\u201d<\/p>\n
No fewer than seven Nigeria pastors own private jets.
