Five years after marriage, gospel singer and song writer, Osinachi Joseph Kalu, popularly called Sinach, has given birth her first child.
Sinach’s spiritual father, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy, broke the good news at the just-concluded LoveWorld International Music and Arts (LIMA) Awards which took place in Lagos, Nigeria.
“Thank you for that song, we are all excited with what the Lord has done in your life, of course in the life of many others standing with you here we just love you. And I told them, you just had a baby! So everybody got excited,” Pastor Chris said.
Sinach, 46, got married to her husband, Pastor Joe Egbu, in 2014. She was born on March 30, 1973 and hails from Afikpo in Ebonyi State.
The award, which was initiated to celebrate members of the church who have excelled in music and arts, took place at the Loveworld Convocation Arena.
The gospel musician won $100,000 cash prize for the Song of the Year Award 2019 for her single titled There’s An Overflow.
