Testimony: How Nigerian governor gave a Christian woman N15m for daughter’s school fees

Dr Pastor Paul Enenche

A Christian woman in Nigeria has testified of how a governor in the northern region of the country gave her N15 millions without ever meeting her.

Esther Okeregbe, who worships with Dunamis International Gospel Centre, a mega church in the West African country, said she was looking for money to pay the school fees of her daughter who was schooling abroad and at the verge of being sent home.

She said she was given a telephone in a trance and that when she dialled the number, the voice on the other end told her he was the governor of a northern state and a Muslim.

She said after a brief discussion, the governor whose name she did not disclose, asked her for her account details and subsequently wired the money to her.

Mrs Okeregbe, who did not give details of her daughter’s education, said She was on 21 days fast, which the church declared at the beginning of the year.

“On the fifth day of the 21 days fasting and prayer in January, my daughter who is studying abroad called and told me that foreign students were being sent back from school because of the inability to pay the school fees and that she was the only one who obtained the grace of paying up in two weeks,” Mrs Okeregbe narrated.

“On the 16th day of the fast, God’s servant, Dr Paul Enenche preached on Financial Proofs, reading from the book of Isaiah Chapter 45:1-3, that God will give us the treasures of darkness. I got home that day and started pondering on the words, and I prayed to God: I said, ‘Father I believe your word preached by your servant, please appear to me and give me direction.’ Before I finished the short prayer, I fell into a trance for a few seconds, and God’s servant, Dr Paul Enenche appeared to me and gave me a phone number and said, ‘call this number for your daughter’s school fees.’

“When I regained consciousness from the trance, I recalled the number, but it appeared very strange that I became scared to call. When I later summoned the courage to call the number physically, I told the person ‘Please my pastor gave me this number to call you, I am sorry sir.’ Then the person asked, ‘Who is your pastor?’ I said Pastor Paul Enenche in Abuja, then he said Okay! that young man that always prays for this nation? I know him. He said, do you know who I am?’ I said, ‘No sir.’ The he said I am a serving governor of a state in the north, a Muslim. At this point I was shivering; I said, Your Excellency, please I am sorry sir.’ He said, don’t be sorry, what is the problem? Then I told him my challenge. How much do you need? he asked. I said I need Fourteen Million Naira for my daughter’s school fees. He told me to send my account details. Just last week, Fifteen Million Naira (N15,000,000) was paid into my account by the governor. I have come to return all the glory to God.”
