The Master’s Place International Church pastor, Korede Komaiya, has revealed how he and three other pastors raised N1.5 billion to buy a Rolls Royce car for the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church (aka) Winners Chapel, to mark his (Oyedepo) 70th birthday.
Komaiya, fondly called Pastor KK, made the revelation during a sermon in his church recently.
Oyedepo marked his 7oth birthday with pomp and pageantry on September 27, 2024.
The Warri, Delta State cleric, said when the birthday was approaching, he and the other three Oyedepo’s spiritual sons, whom he did not name came together to think of what they could do to honour the septuagenarian on his birthday.
Komaiya said after they agreed, he made a contribution of N250 million towards acquiring the Rolls Royce car. According to him, his contribution was the least.

“Maybe I have the liberty now to share this. My dad’s birthday was coming – 7oth. We said okay, we need to honour him. He said nobody should do anything for him, we should give it to 70 widows, 70 poor people, 70 this, 70 that.
“So, we looked at it, and we said okay. Four of us came together and said we would buy a Rolls Royce. I asked somebody and said, ‘which car will take him to church on his birthday?’ They said ‘he has this car; he has that car.’ But he will never use his money to buy a Rolls Royce. So, four of us came together and this small boy in front of you (Korede) was privileged to drop N250 million. I dropped N250 million. We are not just talking. Listen, I won’t mention the other three.
“We bought that car for N1.5 billion. I was the one that gave the smallest. It was N250 million to honour my father sir.
“Then we took the car to him. Then we made up our minds not to post it on social media, not to say anything about it on social media because some people will just be talking. I gave the smallest and I gave N250 million. I gave N250 million,” he said.
Oyedepo shocked
Komaiya said Oyedepo was shocked when the car was taken to him, prompting him to pray passionately for them.

“Everybody, hear me. We took it to our father. He was shocked. He said, ‘I thank God, not politicians did this. I thank God, not businessmen in the church. Sons in the ministry that I raised. Four of you came together and did this.’ He said, ‘In 70 years, this is the only thing that has not been given to me. Now that you gave me what nobody has given to me, kneel down, all of you.’ For somebody to place a hand on you with holy anger!
“Everybody, shout with me – honour works. After this morning you will never remain the same again (Prayer for his congregation).
“We knelt down, he lifted up his hand. It was the second day he gave me a shoe. He said, ‘You joined them to do for me what no one has done for me in 70 years. I now decree over your life – And as God is alive and His spirit is alive, I speak over you, dimensions you have never entered into, blessings you have never seen, honour you have never seen, favour you have never seen enter into your life right now. Within one month my annual income became my almost daily income. From being a millionaire, I moved to the b-level comfortably.”
The cleric, who noted that honour is the master key to all the blessings in the bible, said since the day Oyedepo prayed for him, no week had passed without him getting gifts of property.
“Honour is the master key to all the blessings in the Bible. Honour is the master key to all the blessings in the Bible. I don’t think a week will pass and I don’t get property,” Pastor Komaiya said.
Oyedepo’s spiritual sons
Apart from Pastor Komaiya, other well-known spiritual sons of Bishop Oyedepo include Pastor Paul Enenche of the Abuja-based Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor David Ibiyeomie of the Port Harcourt-based Salvation Ministries and Pastor Biodun Fatoynibo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), also in Abuja.
The trio of Enenche, Ibiyeomie and Komaiya have constructed massive church buildings in emulation of Bishop Oyedepo, who built the first 50,000 capacity auditorium in Nigeria – Faith Tabernacle, Canaan Land, dedicated 1999.

Oyedepo is already constructing another gigantic auditorium known as The Ark. It is 106,000 seater capacity edifice.
It is not clear if it was Enenche, Ibiyeomie and Fatoyinbo, all wealthy pastors, that joined Komaiya to buy the Rolls Royce gift for the LFC founder.
In 2018, the 100,000 seater Glory Dome constructed by Enenche’s DIGC was dedicated while Ibiyeomie is constructing a 120,000 seater auditorium called 5-Fingers of God Cathedral.

There were, however, reports at the time that Pastor Ibiyeomie single-handedly bought one of the Rolls Royce gifts for Oyedepo while the other was bought by Pastor Fatoyinbo.
Pastor Fatoyinbo’s testimony
While marking his 50th birthday in January 2025, Pastor Fatoyinbo, shared a testimony of car gift from some church members, stating that it was a proof of biblical principle of sowing and reaping.

The COZA senior pastor recalled how he and some fellow pastors gifted Oyedepo a car and how he also got a similar gift from church members.
He said, “Last year, myself and my covenant brother and two pastors in this nation, we bought a certain car for Bishop David Oyedepo. I was not even there when they presented it because the bible says you will reap when you sow, not where you sow.
“Do you know that January 1st was my 50th birthday? Some sons just came together and bought me the same car without me arranging it. I was surprised. So, wake up. Dey play! Don’t wait till 80 before you wake up. Wake up now!”
